Many of the things my generation took for granted which centered around the fun and innocence of children and even teenagers having "clean" fun are not there for younger generations.
So one thing that is guaranteed is that future generations will not be able to enjoy some of the things YOU take for granted. If you really care there are probably more constructive things you can campaign for.
I have seen a lot more of life than you have I'll wager and "life" and logic tells me CO2 isn't one of them.
