Lots of deaths have to occur in this opioid crisis to create change I guess. I understand that opioids used long-term burn out pain receptors in the brain so the patient ends up worse off with life long pain. How can this be allowed to continue in a 1st world country with all the knowledge and all the science pointing to opioids as a complete and utter failure in medicine.
