I agree. it seems like the over half a million signatures on a Rudd petition to the former parliament re the concentration of media in Aus (ie Rupert's) ought to be legislatively reviewed and remedied .
I guess this is a case where Labor has put self interest before National interest due to the influence of News Ltd on Aus public opinion.
But back to topic:
The NBN is a current national economic asset and , IMO, ought not be privatised until such time that there is adequate 5G competitive coverage to economically replace the NBN.
PS: The Government is financing a Brisbane based Super Computer costing $1 Billion to develop AI and as such keep up with the rest of the world . IMO this is a good long term strategy rather than outsourcing overseas where we can be held to ransom later.
We are now seeing how mobile telephony is being used as a weapon of war.
