Very funny Joel...yes today is a bad day for us MBP holders. But I was not very confident of positive results anyway. Learnt a valuable lesson not to get attached to a stock today.

I discovered the sharemarket in 2001, and MBP was one of my first buys at about 40-something cents. I then bought in again at around $1 before the announcement in 2004.

I fully understood the risk/return concept and MBP only made up a very small part of my portfolio (thank God!). Most of my folio is made up of long-term extremely well performing blueys, so even though it's disappointing, it doesn't worry me that much....1 less ivory back scratcher I guess.
