So, now that Australia is officially, "mooooving forrrrwaaard", who would you rather be now?

Would you rather be, Gillard or Abbott?

Or perhaps,former P.M. Rudd?

Gillard has just delivered an effective electoral defeat for Labor.

Labor lost on the primary vote.

Labor lost on the two party preferred vote.

labor will only form a version of a government with the dubious "support" of a couple of self interested Independents, and an Extremist Green. Hardly a resounding victory, in my opinion.

Next question for you.

How long will this last?

Until the next bi-election? Until one of the Independents gets double crossed?

Who knows. Could be a month. Could be a year. Certainly won't be three years.

So, who would I rather be now? Probably Abbott (minus the ears) and maybe, Rudd.

Why?

Because Abbott has been successful in bringing the Coalition from the depths to the fringe of an electoral victory.

Why Rudd?

Because he can sit back and watch Labor implode. there is no doubt that Rudd wants revenge. The factions will do their dirty work again, this time upon Gillard.

This will be very interesting.
