Webjet Ltd today announced gross transaction values for November of
around $5.95 million, compared with $1.47 million a year earlier.
Managing director Mr David Clarke commented: "The sales trend
advised to the market on 1 October and 14 October has further
accelerated in November and so far in December has continued to the
extent that yesterday, on one single day, 6 December, we booked
approximately 1000 passengers.
"This record number compares with over 20,000 passengers booked
in November.
"It is of course still early in December and no forecasts are
made at this time."
Shares in Webjet fell 0.4c to 7.4c yesterday.
