reaction to a vacine is normally normal :-) It is the severity (spelling?) that is not cool.
Since I come into contact with a lot of people, we are given free flu shots at work. I said no, mainly due to the severity of the flu symptoms a lot of workers acquired. To me there really seemed to be no difference. Some even had time off work in my department. This was last year.
So I suppose it should come down to an individual choice.
Hep B no problems taking that for free :-) Side effects of vaccine are liveable, contracting Hep B not so cool.
