    OMS, I got it from many sources. One was the Qld Health booklet on vaccinations. I followed up their references at the local medical library. This was many years ago now and I don't know if I still have the details that I sent to QH, but two instances where they were just plain wrong were:

    Only 1 in 5000 children suffer a severe reaction to the DPT injection. Wrong. What the research paper said was that there was 1 adverse reaction in 5000 injections - which as babies receive three shots, is one child in 1700.

    Measles is a very dangerous disease with many potential complications. Totally wrong!! The article stated that measles is not a dangerous disease so long as the patient is kept quiet and fluids are maintained. Complications are rare .....

    From memory, one third of the references were totally wrong, another sixth were open to interpretation. Why would I take any notice of Govt. edicts with that success rate?

    Of course I never got a reply from QH.
