Most common serious side effect of MMR is aseptic meningitis[self limiting disease with minimal mortality], approx 1 per 10000.
Your children hopefully, will remain healthy because of the majority of society , luckily, doesn't follow your sad philosopy.
Remember to counsel them not to get a passport though. Unless they only plan to travel to countries with high vaccination rates of course.
And please keep them away from babies and people on chemotherapy, or others with decreased immunity. Sorry, I forgot, you wont see that as much of a priority.
