Can you imagine the Labour Govt of the 70s putting up with this! OK we are now part of Asia but free trade is about reducing barriers, not selling off prime Aussie long term assets at ridiculous fire sale valuations. (Rex Connor and Mr Khemlani where are you?)

I have a suspicion that Management has encouraged and supported this Chinese Offer with an ulterior motive. That is to shock the Federal and SA Government to intervene at FIRB and other levels to assist alternative processes. I may be over-rating the Oz Boards capability here but I think its an obvious strategy.
