Agree with you that AUS is high atm but I honestly don’t think AUD can go much lower from current level. Well….as you said, Asian wanna buy resources from us therefore they need AUD, then they need to buy AUD from the market. the demand of AUD will keep relative stable or strength. Plus, US/JP gov they just keep printing their currencies which will also make our currency appreciated.
Current story of BND and all other QLD miners isnt about high AUD (except a few producers like COK of course) IMHO, coz it can be explain they haven’t started production yet ( but COK do earn a premium). The main issue is about coal price/demand; consequently it will influence the sentiment of debit market towards junior coal companies.
My advice is you do need to trust Mr. Market coz it has invisible hand. It will balance out the demand/supply eventually and sometimes slowly.
