Today is just the deadline for the CEE submission to Govt... it will be weeks before they review and respond to it, I would wager.
And IMHO if the govt. *do* decide to stop further funding, they won't be shouting that from the rooftops, because it potentially means the loss of jobs, so it will come out on a busy news day so it slips under the radar.
