I think the cobalt play is a fair point given what is likely further cobalt price movement upwards.
2 other shares I'm in have exposure to nickel/cobalt, but in laterite, not the preferred sulphide deposits. As a rough rule, laterite is is a bit more of a pain to produce, with energy requirements 3 to 6 times that of sulphides alone.
Both those shares have had a better than expected recent increase, but they both run a diverse portfolio, so anyone buying in partly for the cobalt wouldn't really show up.
