The response simply stated " project confidentiality remains in place". Didn't say the Patent was within the bounds (scope) of the agreement.
The fact there is no clarification suggests no one has any idea what is going on. I would imagine there are lots of phone calls being made at the moment. Some covering back sides and other asking WTF IS GOING ON!
