Do you think that these corrupted chinese company executives gave out sensitive information to Rio Tinto for nothing? If Hu paid for the information / data to these individuals on behave of Rio Tinto, then there's no doubt that bribery existed / occurred.
Bribery is illegal in any countries, including Australia. If Mr Hu is found guilty of bribery then Rio Tinto may face heavy fine.
