..sounds good, boffin...but can you trust the banks to take good care of your cash....after all banks will hand out your cash in form of loans again to somebody else at a higher interest rate than they pay you for your cash deposit which may show in your savings account but it may not be really there when you want it back...what if your bank goes belly up...so cash may seem to be king right now for the rosy eyed but may turn beggar just as well...after all, it's only money honey...worthless paper or rather imaginary numbers in your digital account...now you see me, now you don't....bottomline: there is no safe investments, not even safe savings...everything to do with paper money has a risk attached...or not??...nothing wrong with spreading your risks though....and not really trying to undermine your trust in banks by any means, boffin...lol...
