Headline for headline.
It will be impossible to have a new vaccine ready this year unfortunately which will mean that covid19 will reappear in the northern hemisphere later this year.
That's the bad news.
The good news is that the widely used chloroquine, a synthetic quinine, together with the HIV inhibitor AZT looks the most likely candidate to ""cure"" or reduce covid19 viral infection. Clinical testing has begun in Brisbane and results are 'promising' to date. This in all probability could be available in as little as 6-9 months. It won't stop you getting sick but you will survive an infection so your life and our economy can run normally.
This is the most likely outcome. Which actually makes us lucky because in a years time we can probably be lining up for the new vaccine.

Hi TB
RE -- chloroquine,
Just a little added information that may be of interest
It apparently boosts your immune system to ---
a/ fight any infection/virus and ----
b/ to guard against an infection/virus
As it is a "natural" product which has been in common use any side effects are known
It is also widely available and successfully used in the Sth Korea campaign
