fast track the md appointment HDR should look at fast tracking its MD appointment ASAP. Investor relations are in need of a dramatic improvement. Yesterday HDR claimed it was hopeful of overtaking OSH in market cap. (a silly boast given what has happened. I hope Scott doesn't present that chart in Sydney).

You get a positive movement in your market cap i). when the underlying value of your company justifies it, and ii) you have the confidence of invetsors. I am broadly convinced of i), but I am increasingly concerned about ii).

I mentioned in a post yesterday that HDR is in real need of a circuit breaker. In the absence of the any positive annoucements from Mauritania - (I'm still a little p*ssed off at yesterday's clanger-it almost deliberately accentuated the negative, and left investors with nothing but questions) - a new MD appears to be the only bright short term light.
