Gold failed to rally back over 1350 recently a critical support level and with so many large funds keen to short gold, the odds were on for a softening in the Gold price.
Might get a nice bounce at 10:00am NY opening, which could be more covering than anything but if I was a betting man I would say without a major credit crisis in a European country or some other black swan event the overall direction of Gold is to continue to track sideways or down.
