I can see how you feel it was wrong. For me it is a bit of a grey area. It didnt feel wrong at the time, but it guess it could be a case of it only being a rort, if you are not in on it.
Question 3 is a clear cut legal situation. As would be a stockbroker advising a client into a dog of a stock, and somehow profiting by taking direct opposite action. The actions of the banker though sits in the murky grey area.
