With our budget deficit now estimated to be circa $200 billion, I'm wondering who is going to pay for it.
Will it be the generation after next? Or every generation or even none?
Who is lending our govt the money? The RBA credit creation machine ? International bond markets?
It won't be my generation, currently to be found in God's waiting room. Nor even the one following.
The younger generations don't have control of the levers. Very few of them probably know there are levers and even fewer are likely to get near them.
Who does that leave? B******* if I know.
