I am assuming that Albemarle would also feel 'somewhat' disappointed on how their 'investment' has 'performed' since they purchased their 7,128,341 Patriot Battery Metals shares at C$15.29 each. The Volkswagen Group also 'lost' a large amount of money in a relatively short period of time since they signed their 9.9% PMT stake agreement (now holding 10.99% and not 9.9% according to this list). I would have preferred a company like Kia or BYD to take a stake instead, given Volkswagen's current situation. My personal heritage should make me a little more proud about this company (VW AG), which also owns Škoda, Seat, Cupra, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche and Ducati. But Volkswagen is in big financial trouble right now. Factories are being closed in Germany and in China and workers dismissed. Will VW still be around if and when the mine starts producing 3 years+ from now? And yes, you are right, PMT's management is indeed generously rewarding itself, remuneration and shares included. Note several PMT employees on the graph below. I would like to see and read more frequent progress updates, other than Cleansing Notes, Change of Director's Interest Notices and Statements on CDI's on Issue. Asking too much?
