"The sell offer of 1.62 million does not make sense. Why will someone sell at a loss and at the bottom and show their hands before selling."

A lot of possible reasons although the last is probably the only questionable one as to why show their hand, although they may just figure or hope it will get eaten into.

1. how do you know it's a loss ? that's only your assumption

2. "at the bottom" ? there's nothing to say it can't go lower but as it is on the hinges of support - has to go either way.

3. 6 trading & 4 settlement days left before EOFY it's the opportune time for those frustrated in the investment or holding gains elsewhere and in need of offsets to take action.
