You claim that the consolidation has affected share price negatively. Yet fail to provide any evidence for the claim. Correlation does not imply causation.
The share price is being impacted by the commodities prices, it is not the consolidation. I shouldn't have to explain to people that if the product you sell (or the product you are searching for in the case of oil and gas companies) reduces in price then that will in turn negatively impact on your;
a) Current earnings.
b) Future earnings.
c) Value of new discoveries.
d) Value of unexplored areas.
I'm tired of seeing the uneducated blather about the board wrecking the share price. The board cannot do anything about commodities prices.
There are many shareholders on here who made a bad investment (myself included), but stop blaming other people for your risky positions. You need to take responsibility for the decisions you make with your money, it's embarrassing to see adults taking no responsibility for their actions. Utterly embarrassing.
