I thinkusing the word "lamenting" conveyed that it was an opinion only.

So no need to pick a fight

and by the way

"only lamenting we re doing the consolidation from a position of weakness rather than strength."

simply conveys the situation that we are currently in, while

"I hope they will consolidate from a position of strenghth rather than weakness"

suggests that there are alternat paths forward.

Wabbit, are you suggesting the consolidation is not necessarily moving forward.

Semantics, semantics, semantics. Some people including our board just don't get it
