    fitnfam,

No doubt you have your own reasons to downramp this stock. If you are like most of the other downrampers on this thread, you will want us to believe you are motivated entirely by the heartfelt desire to help existing holders.

    LOL LOL LOL

My personal opinion is that most downrampers either hold a personal grudge or are looking to beat down the price for a lower entry. There are certainly plenty of ex holders with personal grudges against A1 and while I don't blame them, holding personal feelings doesn't help with objective decisions. I personally sold right out of A1 and bought back in when the price dropped to my buy level. I retained a long term buy disclosure while I was out of A1 because I believe the company holds some very good ground. I could have bought in cheaper and for those who have, good on you.

A1 has very substantial assets as well as an efficiently run plant. There most certainly has been problems reconciling predicted grades with what is going through the plant and not enough of these problems have been adequately explained by A1. There will be some ore dilution occurring but it is in the mining contractor's interests to keep that dilution to a minimum and establish a reputation as a competent operator. Matching the size of the digger used to extract the ore to ore geometry is a problem the contractor will have addressed if they want a reputation as a professional operator.

I don't know where you came up with the idea that the gold at Brightstar Beta occurs in "seams". If you read that in one of their announcements, I would be interested in the link. Ore seams occur in sedimentary strata and whatever sediments that may have existed at A1's mine have been deformed and metamorphosed to such an extent that little or no evidence of the original stratification remains. Most gold in the Laverton field is associated with crustal scale shear zones rather than sedimentary strata.
