I think there is truth in what you are saying. Conspiracy theories aside, the following is fact.
The last time the oil price visited this low level, there were a large number of idle tankers and they were being leased by quite a few big dealers, filled with oil and parked in the middle east somewhere. Money makes money. It wouldn't surprise if that is being repeated again. So currently, who else is filling up, where and how much, apart from China. China is still building hundred of tanks to increase their national reserve. They must have filled those tanks pretty cheaply! But I believe they are buying oil from Iran ??
Anyone know how to check the whereabouts of tankers in this world, stationery, moving?
With regards to SA, I think they are pretty p!$$ed off by the Iran peace deal. Maybe tht's got something to do with it.
Regardless, I hate to see 10.00am to morrow. Wish I hadn't top up at 9c+
