Its pretty simple. If you don't provide shares as part of a CEOs REM package and you actually cut the CEOs salary due to a falling share price, we wont have a CEO for long. Further, can you imagine the calibre of CEOs we would attract in the future if we did such things.
I'm not saying its fair, but what David receives from Anteo is pretty standard for a CEO of an ASX listed business.
