With spontaneous fires and flammability of Lithium Ion batteries a hot topic at the moment - pardon the pun, I recently emailed ADO asking what the latest performance of ADO’s trials with high silicon anodes showed with respect to these issues.
Unfortunately, ADO have not bothered to answer my queries and I wonder if some of the more technically researched posters have any information and could elaborate in any way.
To me, if including ADO binder technology and /or higher levels of silicon into lithium Ion batteries, does in fact increase stability and reduce the fire hazard, it’s a very big deal and they should shouting it from the rooftops.
I and I am sure many others, would appreciate any information that they have come across regarding this issue.
