I think Bottsy you underestimate how many of us have been here almost as long as Geoff . We are the “ true believers “ in the technology, it’s like an addiction, we occasionally go into rehab when we realise if the journey is going to lead somewhere it should have happened by now or management let fly all is not well inside etc but on the hope of new management, new “ breakthrough “ even a belief it can’t get worse and still hope in the technology re enter putting previous losses behind us .
All I want from Board and Management and hold them accountable for are -
- A clear measurable plan and regular reporting against it and if there is a need to pivot, abandon or enhance do so clearly and transparently.
- Disciplined financial and capital management, including courageous management of mistakes to minimise loss , backing sensible investments quickly and fully, prudently managing expenses and performance. This includes performance pay and fee carry equity .
- Timely transparent communication on both progress and setbacks, not fluff and puff to appease.
Why do I bother posting, to try and get shareholders, long term or short term to look at the issues , use their vote to hold the Board accountable especially around Management performance, Performance pay and communication with shareholders.
I believe in the technology and assume we are being told mostly the truth. After 20+ years though we risk becoming a retail shareholder funded lifestyle company.
Time for all the facts to be made available to shareholders to be able to make informed decisions without all the BS around EV1 ,2,3 etc meetings after meeting with no definitive outcomes etc.
