This is something that has been debated much on this forum. I asked the company a couple of years back about whether or not AnteoX can make a battery safer or not. They said it doesn't make the battery safer. I found this answer a little confusing as AnteoX is a self-healing binder which in my mind, would mean the battery would be more stable, which in turn would lessen the chance of thermal run-away.
