We cant be relying on resources forever.
The UK made the mistake of under investment in new industries for the past 10-15 years and look at their economy now. China will continue to push alternative resources and my concern is if we don't divest we be the next UK with some of slowest growth of the major nations.
I feel they owe it to the next generation of children to invest and ensure there are jobs for them in the future. Specially given the level of public debt they are passing on to them.
