our 70% silicon anode uses silicon costing $10/kg compared to Chinese silicon $100/kg and US $2000/kg. the cost saving would be huge. still early stages and will involve jv type arrangements. with these savings and performance improvements it looks like a real winner
we are in (I think he said) contract discussions with one govt grant, any funding will help if added to tax rebate and option conversion early next year
still plenty happening but when we start getting significant revenue and these majors being named is still vague.
