Mate. The Govt grant is not “cash”.
First, the company has to draw down what little cash they have to pay for something that qualifies for the grant.
THEN they pass on the (paid) invoices and the paperwork to the Govt which reimburses the company. (That’s how I understand it but there are several on here eg Eggboy who can correct me if wrong.)
So at best it’s cash “neutral”.
