What is Targeted Support? ... and "support" is an interesting word to use
- a loan ... no chance from a commercial partner
- upfront payments ... possibly, but could early payments of revenue technically be regarded as support? - perhaps a sign on payment on a commercial agreement - but that is still a form of revenue on a commercial agreement, and not really support
- Non dilutive funding ... probably not as they normally use that phase directly.
- Government Funding ... possibly a chance of some form of equity stake from one of the Federal Funds, but can government be regarded as a Strategic Partner ... perhaps yes ... but it might have been easier to note government instead of Strategic Partner
- Equity stake ... well just perhaps ....
Interestingly its under the Goals for the current financial 2025 ... so it must have been discussed and probably a little more than discussed to be included for this year as a goal and mentioned in the first place
Perhaps a design freeze and equity funding being announced on the same day by EV1 ?
EV1 gets a cheap stake in Anteotech ..... and potentially sees its investment value escalate sharply on the day of the announcement. Although a funding announcement would mean revealing who EV1 is ... and would the Design freeze still be too early for them to announce who they are?
I can't see Wyon, or a CET or a small Indian start up providing much in the way of support, it would be pure revenue from them. It would have to be a bigger player.
