You make a fair comment Brickwalls.

But what really sticks in my mind are comments from ADO management.
    “No news is good news.”

It has been pretty obvious for some time that this is nothing more than a strategy to keep shareholders off his back. The fact larger shareholders than myself can receive personal communication from DR himself, pisses me off no end.

“We won’t be doing a running commentary.”

If we are actually making these amazing gains in battery tech, then why wouldn’t you shout it from the rooftops? The current game of Chinese Whispers is leading to all kinds of wild supposition while allowing the share price to languish because ADO stubbornly refuses to advertise its apparent successes.

“By the next AGM, shareholders will be very happy.”

I’m easily pleased. I would have been very happy if he had taken seriously his vow to be the custodian of shareholder value. Instead I find myself having to tip in ever more money just to avoid my holding being obliterated by the supposed custodian himself. If, by some miracle, DR returns with a reasonable money deal, all well and good but that’s his bloody job. If he returns with sfa, I won’t be in the least surprised.

Enough of this ‘no news is good news’ bs. If it’s good enough to cosy up to large shareholders with personal calls, then it’s good enough to put it out on a company email to all shareholders.
