It won't allow me to post the link for some reason, but it you Google bmw hydrogen engine, there's several articles. In particular, by a website hydrogen-central.com about bmw saying goodbye to electric cars as they have now solved the problem with hydrogen engines. There seems to be quite a lot of articles about BMW and the switch to hydrogen. I haven't looked enough into it. The hydrogen hybrids that are technically classed as ev's may still require it... It won't completely bump electric out, of course, but the technical advancements and public favour does seem to be more rapidly favouring hydrogen engines.
