According to our friends at TechCrunch, the round values the eight-year-old company at
more than $1 billion. It was raised just eight months after Sila Nano’s
$70 million Series D that was led by
Sutter Hill Ventures and brings its total venture raised
to $295 million, according to the company.

Sila /MB have gone a little quite over the last 12 months while testing THE anode ?? is it because the best they have so far for the G wagon is too heavy ? the Sila battery alone weighs in at over 1.5 ton giving very poor towing capacity and just a little bit of range stress ? ?
