no replies so here is my opinion

the validation of anteoX has already been achieved, from the agm as is above
"we've received validation of the performance from multiple groups, including the technical and costing engineers within Mercedes"
"the Mercedes costing engineers have also confirmed that the incorporation of anteoX into the anode and substitution of more than 50%of carbon nano tubes with anteox provides cost benefits to the development program currently underway"
what would be the purpose of manufacturing validation? anteotech are providing Mercedes the anteoX. anteoX is a drop in, into the anode slurry. what could go wrong with it?
the manufacturing validation would be for anteoX addition, addition of silicon into the anode, new cathode configuration etc etc.
when done, what would happen next? I suppose Mercedes would want to test the batteries from the manufacturing validation.
about 3 weeks after the agm Mercedes announces this

"new high performance battery concept" we then learn Mercedes will offer 2 battery configurations, one with higher silicon content.
who knows, most will know where my thoughts sit.
seems logical, manufacture validation, design freeze, prototype testing.
as Manuel and fabian said 1/2 tongue in cheek "would you say we are the, the silicon anode experts"
ps apart from Mercedes should have results from ev3, separator company and vidcare imminently !!!!
