Two reagents are used in this case.
The self-tests that I am aware of only use one reagent.
As a rule, test manufacturers only use AnteoBind if the authorisation cannot be achieved in any other way.
As far as I know, when applying for a test, it must be precisely defined why this test should come onto the market.
If the approach is: an accuracy of 97% to the benchmark (laboratory test), then the test must achieve this, otherwise it will not be authorised.
My guess would therefore be that the second reagent could be AnteoBindXT, which has been added to the test kit.
The production process at Vidcare would not change, only the contents of the packaging.
