It will be absolutely of no consequence or satisfaction to ADO share holders if Mercedes Benz successfully incorporates our technology into their products, but someone else owns it!

I have had similar thoughts for quite a long time about IP and patent ownership being taken out in one fell swoop on the cheap so to speak. What's it worth to a Skase or Holme's a Court corporate raider? OK lets say 5 x where ADO is now so about $250M, small change for someone like a big auto maker or big pharma.

However below you will see a listing of ADO patents, don't bother to read them, it's not the point.

If you look at the way current mgt have structured ADO, in a corporate sense, it would be very messy for some entity to take the whole company in order to extract what they want. ADO is very diverse in application and covers a variety of sectors and patents that overlap with the core ingredients. So in effect the raider would have to buyout the whole company and them jettison that parts that don't apply to their sector, very hard to do unless there is a clear and financial reason for doing so. Conversely it could indicate ADO split into individual divisions that is common in biotech. Where one fails another succeeds and is floated.

I don't look at the technology to the depth some here do, understanding the reason for corporate structures and success are my interest because I will never be in a position to understand the patents so it's pointless reading glossy overheads about how they will change the world.

Show me the big picture - the plan - and how you get there!

    • Functional coating

    Patent number: 10786606

Abstract: The present invention relates to the coating of a range of functional heparins onto the surface of a substrate for which hemocompatibility is a key functional characteristic, such that the functionality of the functional heparin is maintained. The approach employs a metal coordination complex to bind to the substrate with the functional heparin binding to the metal coordination complex to thereby impart hemocompatibility.
