    BYD will have first EVs using solid state batteries by 2027 and expect mass adoption of technology by 2030. Perhaps Mercedes will have similar timelines so will still need a better current battery technology in the interim. I am still hopeful of a deal with Mercedes. https://electrek.co/2025/02/17/byd-confirms-evs-all-solid-state-batteries-2027/
