BYD are rumoured to be supplying the cells for the China specific LWB version (LFP BYD Blade). The only other reference I have been able to find is a Reuters article from September 2023 which said the batteries (cells) would be supplied by CATL and ACC (ACC should make CB happy). So maybe the LFP come from CATL and the NCM come from ACC but who knows. My point being, if its not too late to publicly disclose the cell supplier then its not to late to publicly disclose the supplier of an additive.
I know May 2023 implies calendar year, but what if the timeline was actually meant to represent financial year.
"we are expecting to generate initial sales early in 2025 from the prototyping stage, then as we move to optimisation of the battery, and then obviously through to commercialisation... obviously the real benefit will be in the sales growth and that is what we are targeting for financial year 2025"
