Maybe "the major" doesn't care what price the sell? Why? Changes to the superannuation rules from 1 July could account for much of the volume.
A Registery check will confirm that recent trading volume was due to Superannuation Fund Holdings downsizing.
However, is it just Deck Chair shuffling? I think so, but check it out for yourself. If so, it's just short-term pain for real exits - or on the flip side, a great buying opportunity.
