If you are only ever looking in one direction with regards sentiment you miss bountiful opportunities in another just because you fail to see them due to internal bias. Fund managers continuously change their sentiment from buy to sell or visa versa depending on prevailing market conditions, this should be a learning experience, the only way is up does not hold true, its variable it changes.
I'm out fishing and have great 200kg marlin on the line but fail to notice water splashing into my tinny, maybe I should cut the marlin free? Don't let personal bias cloud sound judgment!
