Unfortunately seeing it as speculative was NOT always the case and just an avenue to rivers of gold to those who were the true believers.
And of course to your truism, you are right it always was and is still HIGHLY speculative, at least there is an acknowledgment of that, pay attention people. Be careful where angels fear to tread!
