I always thought Varta supplied battery's for the Apple Airpods...

I always thought Varta supplied battery's for the Apple Airpods Pro. Turns out that was only for the Airpod Pro V1.

Samsung SDI supply the battery for the current version (AirPods Pro V2 ), whist the battery in the charging case is supplied by Sunwoda Electronics.
Not sure who supplies the battery for the Airpods long tail

Version 3 of the Airpod Pros is expected to be released this year. Rumoured to be April-May but more likely September when Apple release their iPhone 17. I'm not sure if Samsung SDI will be supplying battery's for the new version but I would say their chances are decent




"Target Commercial agreement in US for mobile phone batteries" can be interpreted in a few different ways.
Could be a foreign company, with an office in USA (ie Samsung SDI)



Samsung SDI would make sense for the wearables because they make batteries for both the Apple Airpods Pro and also Samsung earbuds and I would assume a few others.

Id guess the second project would be mobile phone batteries. Samsung SDI is a leading manufacturer for consumer products, and they were also at the AABC (not sure how many suppliers of batteries for consumer electronics also hang out at an automotive battery conversion). The wording implies they are different companies but who knows.

Probably easier if @Wayne72 came clean and told us who the Consumer Electronics company is.
