History has a habit of repeating itself.
The clincher is that the last spike occurred almost exactly 5 years ago. It is well known that the median time span for history to repeat itself is half a decade.
Thus probability theory (mine) gives a p value of < 0.05 that we aren't on the cusp of another grand slam (i.e. a p value of 0.95 that we are).
