    the pitfalls of "averaging down"

    say you bought a million bucks worth of ADO at 40c, they'd now be worth a bit over 30k, so of course you would buy some more "cheaper"

    that's been my modus operandi over many years, look where it got me, eating baked beans

    even you you were lucky enough to "only pays 12 cents for a million bucks worth, they are now worth 100k

    the more one tops up, the cheaper they get

    i'm not even sure what my average is, definately over 10 cents, and similar sad story across my whole portfolio, the only thing that varies is the % loss
