I think we are at the point already that raising money will be “ very difficult “. To many down raises , to many options , to much board and executive free carry they spread equity around as if it had no value or consequence until it now equity has little value. The point of no return is running out of cash and there they have shown no discipline in spending capital on plant and facilities way before required, no discipline in managing operating expenses with staff and board and executive costs. The last piece is income no deals , no upfront or co payments in expensive development projects, no revenue worth speaking of, no contracts to ensure future revenue.
Only way out - - Control of cash burn to extend the current runway till a deal can be done. ( MOST URGENT and OVERDUE) - A significant upfront or co payments to fund development costs . - A government or partner capital injection - A deal to totally re rate before we run out of cash sufficient to attract new investment at a respectable price.
If nothing changes the timeline is pretty easy to calculate and could be even sooner as we incur significant legal and accounting fees to protect our Board and Officers as we gently sink !!!
